Prodexa is brand-new Windows software and is not yet code-signed, so Windows and some antivirus tools do not recognise it yet. It is safe to install. Here is what to expect and what to do.
When you run the installer you may see a blue box saying “Windows protected your PC” (this is called SmartScreen).
Click More info, then click Run anyway. This appears only because the program is new and unsigned, which is normal for small independent software.
Occasionally antivirus software wrongly flags brand-new programs (a “false positive”). If that happens, choose Allow, Keep or Restore the file, and/or add Prodexa to your antivirus exclusions.
If you prefer to be cautious, you are welcome to scan the file at virustotal.com before installing.
Prodexa runs free for 60 days from the day you first open it – no key needed to start, and you get the full program.
After 60 days it becomes read-only: you can still open every screen, view your data and export it, but changes are no longer saved until you enter a licence key.
Click Buy licence and pay securely through Stripe. Your licence key is shown on screen straight after payment – copy it and keep it safe. It is also emailed to you (please check your junk/spam folder, as mail from a new sender often lands there at first).
In Prodexa, open the File menu (top left), choose Enter licence key and paste your key. It starts with PRODEXA. – copy the whole thing. The program then unlocks permanently on that computer.
